A WOMAN was left shocked after her puppy worth thousands of pounds grew up to be a different breed than she paid for.
Lisa posted the shocking before and after of her pet, which she thought was a French Bulldog.
The video on TikTok shows a young puppy with its eyes closed, with the caption: "When your "French Bulldog" you paid £3,000 for turns into..."
The next photo shows Lisa's daughter posing with the canine, who grew up to be less of a French Bulldog and more of a regular one.
The cute puppy turned into a rather awkward-looking adult dog, with misshapen ears and a cheeky smile.
The dog's appearance is a far cry from what Lisa had hoped for - a smaller, squish faced dog.

Social media users were quick to comment on the unfortunate mix-up.
One said: "Looks like an old time bulldog! Still gorgeous."
Lisa responded: "Yeah, think there was a bit of cross breeding maybe accidentally. But wouldn't change him for the world. Best wee (big) dog."
Other followers pointed out the benefits of not having a Frenchie, which are known for being hard to maintain.

Another commenter said: "Probably save as much on vet bills to be honest."
According to the pet advice site French Bull Dog Owner, the purebred pups cost an average of £1,700 per year in vet bills and other expenses.
Others were quick to point out Lisa's misfortune in paying £3,000 for her less than purebred dog.
One user said: "A well bred pedigree from a reputable breeder shouldn't cost any more than £1,800. Y'all need to do better research when looking for breeders."
Last year, a mum who thought she was buying a purebred French bulldog also had a shocking surprise.
Bethan Cupples, 21, found the adorable puppy on Gumtree for only £600, and took home her new five-week-old pal.
But when canine Luna began growing, she was not the short-haired, flat nosed purebred Bethany had hoped for.
She took little Luna to the local veterinarian, where she found out her beloved pet was actually a mixture of a Yorkshire Terrier and French bulldog.
Bethany even told Ladbible: "We did look for a Frenchie, but as soon as we laid eyes on her we instantly fell in love.

"No matter the breed or the price, we welcomed her into our family home with open arms.
“She made our family whole and we wouldn't change her for the world, she has the most amazing personality and is a funny individual. We love her to bits.”
