Colt Johnson Apologizes for "Mistakes" After Feuding With Every Single Castmate

Both on camera and behind the scenes, Colt Johnson was so antagonistic at the Tell All that he almost got a smackdown from Pedro Jimeno. However, it looks like hes had a bit of a change of heart or at least a wakeup call about his behavior.

Both on camera and behind the scenes, Colt Johnson was so antagonistic at the Tell All that he almost got a smackdown from Pedro Jimeno.

However, it looks like he’s had a bit of a change of heart — or at least a wakeup call about his behavior.

In a new message, he’s opening up about the wrongs that he’s done.

90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? villain Colt Johnson took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday to share an open letter.

"I know I’ve made mistakes, disappointments, and failures," Colt acknowledges.

"But trust me," he implores his fans and followers. "There is a part of me worth keeping."

"I am sorry for my mistakes," Colt expresses.

"And," he continues. "All I can say is that I’ll spend every day trying to be the best me I can."

"But I’m not doing it for you," Colt clarifies.

He explains: "I am doing it for me."

"Life is too short," Colt writes.

"Be the best you, always," he concludes.

Colt punctuates his Instagram Story note with a red heart emoji.

Colt’s most recent public antics included him seemingly making an effort to fight with every single one of his castmates.

He lashed out verbally at Ashley (while also seeming to openly stare down her shirt in moments that were captured on film), calling her "Trashley."

Colt demanded that Chantel "shut the f–k up" and would later describe her as "human noise."

He also tried to pick a fight with Nicole over how long it is taking for her to make things work with Azan.

It seemed like he was just eager to quarrel with anyone willing to take the bait.

Colt may be addressing more than just that display of general hostility.

He did not exactly aquit himself ideally during his marriage to Larissa.

Notably, Larissa’s arrests in November and in January appeared to have been based purely upon what Colt told responding officers.

(Notably, in November, police were called on Larissa’s behalf while she was locked in the bathroom, but whatever Colt told the police convinced them to arrest her instead)

In December of last year, his cheating scandal was exposed.

He had been telling various women that his marriage to Larissa was over — just a sham for reality television.

Beyond the (sometimes scary) incidents during his marriage and reality career, there were other troubles that followed Colt.

One of those troubles was named Debbie.

Okay, so we kid — she does seem to be a generally nice older woman who loves her son a great deal.

But while a healthy and loving relationship between parent and child is usually a good thing, the pair of them seemed dysfunctional and codependent.

To be clear: Colt and Larissa would not have and should not have worked out as a couple regardless, but Debbie’s presence almost guaranteed a failed marriage.

In more recent weeks, Colt has made a lot of steps towards moving on with his life.

Colt is even dating again, and he has made it very clear that he has a type.

Hopefully, this time around, he can keep his flirtateous habits reserved for the woman he’s dating and not for random waitresses and cashiers.

(Quick reminder: those folks are paid to smile at you and be polite! Your barista does not want to bone you; she’s at work!)

Sometimes, learning lessons about love and relationships can be painful.

But if Larissa is happy that Colt is dating again, 90 Day Fiance fans can feel the same way.
